Roybal told Trujillo it was a pleasure working with him as a board member and wished him the best in his future endeavors. Ives echoed Roybal’s comments and said he appreciated Trujillo’s attentiveness and style in all the board’s proceedings. Trujillo said it was a very nice experience working with the Coalition. ‘In the few years I got to be on the board, I learned a lot about the Laboratory and its importance in Northern New Mexico. I met some wonderful people. I’m glad you guys are running the ship now and hopefully with your voice we will continue to have Los Alamos be active in our communities and take care of our families – they’re a large employer. At the same time, all of us have family that work there so its something to be proud of and I’m excited for everyone else coming on the board. t really means a lot. I thank you all for your patience with me. Having the opportunity to serve as chair and vice chair was really fun,’ Trujillo said. Photo by Maire O’Neill/losalamosreporter.com
