Finish up your holiday shopping at the Los Alamos Nature Center this Christmas Eve. The nature center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24 and is a perfect spot to show visiting family and friends. The gift shop also has many unique stocking stuffers available and a self-serve recycled wrapping station for customers to use.

The Los Alamos Nature Center is free to visit and is equipped with interactive exhibits, a wildlife observation room, gardens and an outdoor nature play area, which features the incredible Rotary Tree House. This year the gift shop has many different hand-made holiday ornaments, holiday cards, 2019 calendars, books, stuffed animals, gadgets, games and many more items for all ages.

The nature center will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but will be open for regular hours New Year’s Eve and all other days. The center’s hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1 – 4 p.m. on Sundays.
