The community is invited to visit the North Mesa Stables between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday for the annual North Mesa Stables holiday event where stable owners welcome visitors to view their decorated barns, lights, luminaria and animals.

Vehicles may be parked in the parking lot across from the Posse Lodge, in the soccer field parking area at the corner of San Ildefonso and North Mesa roads or in the rodeo area parking area.

Visitors are encouraged to wear warm clothing as the temperature at the stable drops dramatically when the sun sets. Pets should be kept on a leash at all times.

Some stable owners offer refreshments to visitors and there is no charge for the event.
