Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church Float Takes First Place In Holiday Lights Parade

The float from Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church took first place in Saturday evening’s Los Alamos MainStreet Holiday Lights Parade. Second place went to New Beginnings Fellowship. Pictured is the Open Door Bible Ministry Float. The theme of the parade was Candyland and there were more than 30 entries in this year’s event. Judges were Carol Clark, publisher of the Los Alamos Daily Post and Joanie Ahlers, Los Alamos County Economic Development Administrator. Watch for the names of scavenger hunt and raffle winner which will be published soon by Los Alamos MainStreet and Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce. Raffle winners may pick up their cash prize at Los Alamos National Bank and scavenger hunt winners who have not claimed their prizes may do so beginning on Monday at Los Alamos Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce.
