Los Alamos High School Softball Plays For The Cure April 11 At Hope Field In White Rock

BY CAMERON DREHER
Assistant Softball Coach
Los Alamos High School

The Los Alamos High School and Española Valley High School softball teams invite the community to our inaugural Play for the Cure softball game, Saturday, April 11, at Hope Field at Overlook Park in White Rock. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9:45 a.m. with the game kicking off at 10 a.m.

The Los Alamos High School softball team will wear blue to raise awareness for colon cancer.

The Española Valley High School softball team will wear gray to raise awareness for brain cancer.

We are excited to bring two communities together through softball to honor survivors, remember the loved ones we lost, and raise funds for cancer research. Together, we can STRIKE OUT CANCER!

Donations to the game will directly benefit the American Cancer Society: https://raiseyourway.donordrive.com/PlayForTheCure2026

Thank you for your support of LAHS and EVHS softball. We hope to see you there!
