LAPS Foundation Announces The Brian Easton Memorial Scholarship

LAPS FOUNDATION NEWS RELEASE

The LAPS Foundation is honored to administer a new scholarship in memory of Brian Easton, a longtime Los Alamos High School teacher who passed away last week.

Dr. Easton dedicated over 25 years to teaching at LAHS, inspiring countless students with his passion for learning and his commitment to their success. He was not only a remarkable educator but also a deeply respected colleague and mentor within the school community. Consistent with his dedication to others, Brian was an organ donor, providing the incredible gift of life to others as his final act.

The Foundation hopes to award the first Brian Easton Memorial Scholarship on May 18, and we invite members of the community to help make this possible for a graduating senior this year and for many deserving students in future years.

Please consider joining us in honoring Dr. Easton’s memory and celebrating the lasting legacy he leaves in the hearts and minds of his former students.

Donations can be made online at lapsfoundation.com/donate (please note “Easton Scholarship”) or by mailing a check to:
