Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op took first place at the 10th Annual New Mexico Brewers Guild Stout Invitational. Sixteen breweries competed in the event hosted by Bathtub Row at their taproom in Los Alamos.

Thirsty Eye Brewing took 2nd place, followed by Quarter Celtic Brewpub in 3rd place. Organized by the New Mexico Brewers Guild, the annual invitational brings together breweries from across the state to showcase their best stout-style beers. This year’s milestone event marked the competition’s 10th anniversary and the 10th year being hosted by Bathtub Row.

The winning beer, Obsidian Ridge Stout, was brewed by Head Brewer Adam Auden, and assistant brewers Dave Shepard and Emily Blumenthal. “It’s an honor to be recognized among so many talented brewers,” said Adam Auden. “Hosting the event and taking first place makes it especially meaningful for our team.”

The Stout Invitational highlights the depth and creativity of New Mexico’s craft brewing community, with breweries submitting a range of traditional and innovative stout styles for judging.

Brewhouse, Downshift Brewing, Nexus Brewing, Nuckolls Brewing, Painted Lady Bed &
Brew, Piedra Blanca Brewing, Ponderosa Brewing, Quarter Celtic Brewpub, Sidetrack
Brewing, Steel Bender Brewyard, Thirsty Eye Brewing, Tractor Brewing, Tumbleroot
Brewery and Unhinged Brewing.
