County: Virtual Meeting Set For March 16 to Gather Input On Grand Canyon Playlot Improvements

COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

Community members are invited to help shape the future of Grand Canyon Playlot by participating in a virtual public meeting on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to share how they currently use the park and to learn about potential renovation options being considered.

The County is seeking community input to better understand how the playlot is used today and
what improvements residents would like to see in the future. Discussion will include potential renovation options for the existing site, as well as the possibility of relocating the playlot to Sherwood Boulevard to improve ADA accessibility and expand park services. Community feedback will help guide planning decisions and ensure the playlot continues to serve neighborhood families and park users.

Residents are encouraged to attend virtual meetings and participate in an online survey to share their ideas and perspectives.
