Los Alamos County will host two public engagement open houses in March as part of its comprehensive plan update process. County residents are encouraged to attend and provide input.
This update to the 2016 comprehensive plan will serve as the county’s long-range planning policy guide, and will shape decisions around land use, infrastructure, housing,
transportation, and economic development, infrastructure for many years to come.
An open house in Los Alamos will be held March 11 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in County Council Chambers. A second open house in White Rock will take place March 12 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the White Rock Branch Library.
The open house format will allow attendees to drop in at any time during the scheduled sessions to review information, speak with project team members and share feedback. Community input gathered during the events will help shape the vision, goals and policies included in the updated plan.
