I write to you today to register my objection to the US acts of war on Venezuela. The acts violate the US Constitution.

While I’ve believed for years that the Chavez/Maduro regime was damaging to world well-being in general and Venezuelan interests in particular, I am more concerned about Trump destroying the rule of law in the United States.

I can’t think of any way to effectively oppose this illegal action, and I fear that with the complacent Republican majorities in both houses of Congress that there is little that you can do either.  Be assured however, that your constituents support any action in opposition that you take.
