Los Alamos Historical Society Presents ‘If These Walls Could Talk’, A Two-Part Lecture Series

The Los Alamos Historical Society is pleased to announce its upcoming free lectures on Tuesday, Jan. 13 and Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Pajarito Room of historic Fuller Lodge. These lectures will feature stories based around the buildings of Los Alamos History.

Join us Jan. 13, for “If These Walls Could Talk Part 1: Buildings of the Los Alamos Historic District”. In this lecture volunteers for the Los Alamos History Museum as well as staff from the Historical Society and Archives and Collections will share the history of the buildings in the Historic District as well as the people who once lived and worked there.

Join us for Part 2 on Feb. 10, 2026, for “If These Walls Could Talk Part 2: Stories from the Buildings Behind the Fence”. This lecture will feature staff from Los Alamos National Laboratory and Manhattan Project National Park. Come and learn more about the history of the buildings behind the fence on Laboratory property as well as the preservation work being done to restore the buildings and tell the stories of the Manhattan Project.
