HISTORICAK SOCIETY NEWS RELEASE

The Los Alamos Historical Society (LAHS) will host Yuletide Tales with Mike Katko from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10 at the Hans Bethe House. Local author, poet, and storyteller, Katko returns to share an evening of holiday-themed reflections.

The program will feature Christmas and winter stories from Los Alamos past, poetry by Peggy Pond Church, and a tribute to veterans in honor of National Wreaths Across America Day (held this year on Dec. 13, 2025).

This free community event offers a warm and meaningful way to celebrate the season while highlighting the people and history that make Los Alamos unique.

All are welcome to attend and enjoy an hour of stories, history, and holiday spirit in the festive setting of the Hans Bethe House.
