PAC 8 NEWS RELEASE

Session 1 is Dec. 22 and Dec. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be a stop motion animation class.  Students will learn the basics of 2-D and 3-D animation. These classes teach skills like storyboarding, character and set design, and how to use animation software and equipment to create stop motion films using materials like clay, LEGOs and cut paper. The students will also edit their short films using Adobe Premiere. There will be an optional supervised one hour lunch break. 

Session 2 will be Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and will be a special effects class. Students will learn how to use the green screen, GoPro cameras and  special effects to help them create a short film. The students will also use Adobe Premiere to edit their film. There will be an optional supervised one hour lunch break.

Both of these classes help students learn about teamwork and provide a creative outlet for them. They also help students to develop their technical skills plus they are a lot of fun!
