Step behind the scenes of one of humanity’s greatest scientific achievements at the Los Alamos Nature Center on Friday, December 12, from 7 to 8:30 PM with a free screening of Cosmic Dawn, an inspiring documentary about the creation of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).

For more than 30 years, NASA and an international team of scientists and engineers pushed the limits of technology, innovation, and perseverance to build and launch the JWST, the most powerful space observatory ever created. Cosmic Dawn reveals the untold story of how this telescope overcame extraordinary challenges, featuring never-before-heard testimonies and footage captured by the Webb film crew.

Audience members will gain a deeper appreciation for the groundbreaking work behind the telescope that has opened a new window on the universe, from observing the first galaxies to exploring distant exoplanets.
