Los Alamos County invites the community to join the County Council at 2025 Holiday Tree Lighting and celebrate the start of the holiday season with light and cheer. The ceremony will be held in the Municipal Building Lobby (1000 Central Ave.) on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.

County Councilor Chair Theresa Cull will flip the switch just before the Holiday Light Parade begins at 6 p.m. This year the tree will be decorated with hand-crafted ornaments made of recycled materials by local schools, community members and County employees. Hot cocoa and marshmallows will be served. Happy holidays!
