The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce is pleased to encourage the community to Shop Small this holiday season! Next Saturday, Nov. 29, is Small Business Saturday. For merchants, it is important to note that this year the GRT tax holiday was NOT extended by our State Legislature. We have expressed interest for the GRT tax holiday and the benefit it provides our small business community, to be put back into place for SBS 2026.

The Enterprise Bank & Trust Blue Bucks program begins on “Black Friday”, the Friday after Thanksgiving, and continues through Saturday, Dec. 13. We will be drawing winners during the
week of Dec. 16 . We will wait until we have all the tickets in from our merchants before we draw any winners. Note, tickets must come from merchants. Buyers must fill out their tickets and give them back to the merchant where they purchase their items in order to have an entry. We recommend filling it out and returning the ticket(s) to the merchant immediately.

Just a reminder, this year some merchants will have actual tickets and at other merchants, customers will simply upload receipts. Each participating merchant will have a flyer indicating which way customers can play our game! So have fun and join in the game We are fortunate to have beautiful shops in town, artists’ creations for sale, and fun gifts for treasured friends, neighbors, and relatives.
