SMALL BUSINESS NEWS
This holiday season, give more than a keepsake—give the gift of growth, confidence and connection. Local coach Mary Bloser is thrilled to announce the launch of her new business, Mary Bloser – Teen & Parent Coach, offering customized coaching for teens and parents navigating today’s high-stress, high-pressure world. Mary invites families to invest in each other’s resilience and well-being.
Mary brings to her new venture more than two decades of experience as a clinical social worker, including work in private practice and within middle and high schools. She is also the current board president of Family Strengths Network here in Los Alamos. Her specialty lies in supporting young people and their parents to negotiate the stress of school, cultural expectations, and day-to-day chaos, and to discover and celebrate who they really are.
“I partner with teens and parents so that they can thrive and build authentic self-expression,” Bloser said.
Services are grouped into two main support areas. First, Teen Coaching, where teens can learn to balance school, extracurriculars and lifestyle; manage stress and burnout; and discover new interests. Other areas of focus are an option as teens choose what it is they wish to work on in coaching. Mary also offers Parent Coaching, in which parents receive support and strategies for being present with their teens during changing relational dynamics and heavy external pressures.
One focus of Mary’s work is coaching neurodivergent teens, including those with giftedness, autism, and other learning differences. Her approach centers on understanding how each teen thinks and communicates, and building strategies around their strengths rather than forcing them into systems that don’t fit.
Families often come to Mary because they want support that’s patient, structured, and empowering, which is something she provides with deep expertise. While neurodivergent teens are a core part of her practice, Mary also coaches teens of all backgrounds who benefit from her steady guidance, practical tools, and warm, supportive style.
As the season of giving approaches, Mary offers families gift certificates for coaching sessions. It’s a meaningful gift that will last long after the holiday season. Mary invites interested families to reach out via phone (505-585-3258) or email mary@marybethbloser.com to begin the journey. Mary can also be contacted through her website: www.marybethbloser.com.
