Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 2083 has hosted an annual Thanksgiving lunch for years for the Los Alamos community. Last year, more than 300 people enjoyed a communal meal of turkey (roasted and smoked), ham, and all the fixings. We understand that this year may be a difficult time for some folks around town and want to extend the reach of information about the free meal for all in our community.
The Elks Lodge is located at 1602 Trinity Drive between Sonic and Natural Grocers. Please enter on the southeast side toward Natural Grocers.
We will start food service at 11 a.m. and continue until we run out. We recommend arriving by 2 p.m. to snsure you get all the sides you would like. There is no charge for the meals, however donations are welcome. Visitors can take a meal to go if they prefer.
We will ask that visitors be mindful of our limited seating. Once they have finished their meals, if there are people waiting, we ask they move to other seating areas in the club or lodge to continue their camaraderie.
