Los Alamos High School alumna SSgt. Danekah D. Johnson (Olguin) has officially retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than 8 years of service. She joined the Air Force following her high school graduation in 2017 and went to Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. She continued her technical training as an administrative specialist at Keesler AFB in Mississippi. Upon completion she was stationed at Yokoto Air Base in Japan, where she remained for two years and her daughter, Delahni, was born. She was then reassigned to Malmstrom AFB in Montana. SSgt. Johnson’s last assignment was at Kirtland AFB, NM, where she served units such as Security Services, Special Warfare Pararescue and an Airman Dorm Leader. Danekah is married to SRA Justyn Johnson.
