TOTH NEWS RELEASE
The Holiday Season is creeping up on us! Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday and Christmas will be here before we know it. Here in Los Alamos we are fortunate to have many local activities to choose from to get into the Holiday Spirit.
One of those, The Children’s Christmas Bazaar, is a time honored tradition. Every year kids from Kindergarten through sixth grade have the opportunity to shop for Holiday gifts for family and friends. A donation is requested from each child (though no one is turned away). All proceeds, after expenses, are donated to a local charity. Trinity on the Hill has sponsored this activity for many years. We love having volunteers who remember how much they enjoyed shopping on their own as kids, and now want to share that activity with siblings and even their grandchildren! The stories they tell are of finding that something special for someone they love, keeps us dedicated to continuing this Los Alamos Tradition.
Big changes are happening for us this year! We listened to your input, and this was the number one concern; There are so many activities to participate in during Winterfest weekend that families are having to choose which ones to attend! In response we are moving the Children’s Christmas Bazaar to the next Saturday. Dec. 13. We hope this will make it easier than ever to enjoy this special day.
Currently we are beginning to gather donations! Items needed along with drop off locations are listed above. Please scan the flyers for items we are collecting and drop off locations. We can also be reached at ccb.toth@gmail.com. Zandrea Glean, Committee Chairman, and all of us on the Christmas Bazaar Committee. Thank You!
