On behalf of the Los Alamos Public Schools, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the voters of Los Alamos County for participating in the school board elections. Your engagement shows your commitment to building strong schools and ensuring student success.

Thank you to the candidates who stepped forward to serve in District 1 and District 2. Running for public office takes time, energy and dedication. Your willingness to contribute strengthens our district and our community. I appreciate your care for our schools.

Congratulations to the newly elected board members Margie Serrato and Antonio Jaurigue. I look forward to working with you as we continue to focus on student learning, staff support and the district’s commitment to ensuring every student in our school district thrives.

I also extend great appreciation to outgoing board members Ryan Adams and Ellen Specter. Your service and leadership supported students, staff, and families. You have remained focused on improving our district for all children. Your commitment to our schools has made an important impact that we will not forget.
