PLACES & SPACES NEWS RELEASE
Places & Spaces Los Alamos invites the public to a unique and inspiring exhibition of community-created art, celebrating the power of sustainable creativity. The Creative Reuse Art Exhibition is now on display in the lobby at the SALA Los Alamos Event Center from Saturday, through Saturday, September 20.
This free exhibition features art created by local community members, showcasing how discarded materials can be transformed into new and meaningful works. The collection is the culmination of recent Creative Reuse and Junk Journaling workshops, where participants learned to breathe new life into items that might otherwise be considered trash.
The exhibition is organized by Places & Spaces Los Alamos and curated by local artist Kes Luchini. Visitors are encouraged to explore the diverse range of pieces, all demonstrating the beauty and potential of upcycled materials.
The free exhibition will be open to the public during SALA’s normal hours of operation. Do not miss this opportunity to see how creativity and sustainability cross paths.
