COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
The Los Alamos County Office of Emergency Management, in partnership with Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce, Los Alamos Main Street & Creative District, and Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation is hosting a virtual Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) meeting on June 23, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM focused on business continuity and emergency preparedness for local businesses.
This session will offer practical tools and guidance for small business owners to prepare for potential disruptions. The presentation will walk participants through the basics of creating a Business Continuity Plan (COOP), highlight local continuity challenges, and connect attendees with free resources and support from local organizations.
The meeting will include a short presentation , followed by a Q&A and open discussion to gather feedback, identify needs, and explore strategies to enhance community-wide business resilience.
