With deepest sorrow, we announce that Celeste De La Paz Abbott gained her angel wings on April 24, 2025, in White Rock, NM. She was 59 years young. 

Celeste was born in Pomona, California, to Ruth Navarro, and grew up in Alamogordo, NM, where she enjoyed playing softball. Celeste had six children, who were the joys of her life. She loved being a mother. 

In 2015, she married her high school sweetheart, Keith Abbott, and they lived happily together in White Rock, NM. 

Celeste was deeply spiritual and young at heart, living every day to the fullest. She loved crescent moons, caring for her plants, and firmly believed in angels, which she displayed throughout her home. 

Celeste is survived by her loving husband, Keith; her affectionate mother, Ruth; her doting children Jasmine (Greg), Brittany, Emma, Danny, Chucky, and Daunte; her beautiful grandchildren, Destiny, Tristan, Louis, AJ, and Oliver; her caring siblings Luci, Cindy, Tony, and Joaquin; and her numerous nieces and nephews who adored her. 

We will remember Celeste for being as beautiful inside as she was outside, a fallen angel on earth who now watches over us from heaven. Her charismatic energy and beautiful voice filled our hearts with joy. When she hugged you, you could feel her love. Although she will be greatly missed, her spirit will carry on in her family and friends.
