Come on out to take a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to construct a 3.5-mile water transmission pipeline along NM-4! This informal family day promises to be a great time for equipment enthusiasts, infrastructure fanatics and anyone who is just curious about the NM-4 Water Transmission Line Replacement/Fiber Conduit Installation Project. Stop by and check out all the vehicles and equipment–give the tires a kick, climb aboard, or just stand back to admire the durability and design of the modern construction machines.
This event is hosted by Wagner Construction, Inc., the Minnesota-based company that was awarded the contract for Los Alamos County’s NM-4 Water Transmission Line Replacement/Fiber Conduit Installation Project. The project site extends along NM-4 from Rover Boulevard to NM-502. With most of the pipeline in place well ahead of the original schedule, Wagner’s crews are looking forward to a moment to connect with the community they’ve been situated in since February.
