PEEC NEWS RELEASE

Get into the holiday spirit with the unique Winter Wonderland Printmaking workshop, hosted by the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) at Los Alamos Nature Center on Friday, Dec. 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.. As part of the WinterFest celebrations organized by Los Alamos Mainstreet and the Creative District, this engaging event invites you to explore the wonders of nature through art.

Using an array of natural materials such as leaves, twigs, and other seasonal elements, participants will discover the joy of printmaking. Create beautiful, nature-inspired cards, perfect for sending as thoughtful holiday greetings to loved ones. In addition to making prints, each participant will carve a personalized, reusable bird or animal stamp that can be taken home for future creative projects.

All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity and love for nature! Admission is $40 for members and $45 for non-members.

The workshop will be led by Ken Nebel, a celebrated artist and art material expert.
