The Los Alamos Reporter, Maire O’Neill, and her husband, Mike O’Neill, quietly celebrated the first six years of losalamosreporter.com earlier this month. Thank you to everyone who has provided me with moral support and encouragement along the way. I have had the opportunity to meet and establish relationships with people I never expected to meet and learned so much about great things happening in the County and the region. Alongside that, I have also learned about things that are going on behind the scene that trouble me. I have to chuckle when people ask me to “send one of your team” to cover events in the community and I have to tell them there is just me at the Reporter, which often surprises them.
