COUNTY NEWS RELEASE 1:50 p.m.

A semi-truck rollover on NM 502, near the Tewa Gas station at mile marker 10, in the eastbound lane, has led to the complete closure of NM 502 this afternoon. The incident was reported at approximately 1:15 p.m. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Los Alamos Police and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office are currently on the scene responding to the situation. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while authorities work to clear the roadway.
