James Zola was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Power Line Point Trail off State Route 4. He had a 14 second differential off his predicted time and was also the first finisher in the 3 mile race at 22:16. Other accurate predictors were: Priscila Rosa recording a 32 second difference; Deana Tsang at 36 seconds off; Sasha Tomalak with a 39 second differential; and Cliff Stanley coming in at 67 seconds off.
In the 1 mile distance Sean Thomas with favorite dog Zoe was the best finisher with a time of 12:39.
Becky Chamberlin was the best finisher on the 2 mile course recording a 26:34 and Ted Atkins, Senior was the first male at 44:21.
On the 3 mile course Madeline Harms was the top female with a time of 27:36.
Next week’s race will start on Range Road which is the left at the fire station off Diamond Drive heading North toward the traffic circle between Barranca Mesa and North Mesa and the start will be just before the Guaje Pines Cemetery entrance. 1 mile paved and 3 mile trail races will be available.
