Doug and Holly Weiss are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their son, Tyler Weiss, to April Walton, daughter of Mark and Ruth Walton of Bountiful, UT. 

The bride-to-be is a 2020 high school graduate of Bountiful High School. April started her college career at the University of Utah where she played on the women’s hockey team. She has since moved to New Mexico to complete her undergraduate degree. She is currently attending The University of New Mexico majoring in accounting and due to graduate with her bachelors degree in 2025. 

The future groom is a 2021 graduate of Los Alamos High School. Tyler was a multi-sport athlete for Los Alamos High School. He started his college career at Adams State University as a short distance sprinter for their track and field team. He decided he missed his passion sport of hockey and transferred to The University of New Mexico and currently plays for the UNM Lobos Men’s hockey team. Tyler is majoring in economics and will graduate with his bachelor’s degree in 2025. He is planning on attending Oklahoma University to pursue his graduate degree. 

The happy couple is planning a July 11 wedding/reception in Norman, Oklahoma at the Jimmie Austin Golf Club.
