Happy New Year from the Los Alamos League of Women Voters and American Association of University Women with hopes for a healthy, creative 2023 with many opportunities for democratic engagement!

To kickstart education toward engagement, the LWV and AAUW invite the community to the Legislative Preview: Fuller Lodge, Thursday, Jan. 4 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Come at 6:30 p.m. for cookies and conversation.

Our three legislators—Rep. Christine Chandler, and Senators Roberto Gonzales and Leo Jaramillo—will discuss the upcoming session. They will also address their hopes and expectations for the session and answer questions from the audience. 

Rep. Susan Herrera (District 41) will explain the changes proposed for modernizing the New Mexico Legislature.

All of the speakers will answer questions from the audience.
