Margaret Fox has been chosen as the Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization’s Employee of the Year. Margaret has been with LARSO as a driver since March 2023. She consistently goes above and beyond taking care of our seniors at the Center and in Day Out. She is always friendly and comforting, helping anyway she can when our seniors are anxious or scared. Our Day Out members feel safe and confident with Margaret. Margaret is a wonderful member of the LARSO team and the fabulous transportation department.

LARSO is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that creates opportunities for healthy aging through social engagement, physical well-being, civic involvement, creativity, and lifelong learning. Since opening in 1998, the Betty Ehart and White Rock Senior Activity Centers have worked to provide numerous services, including day out/daycare, transportation, community meals, home-delivered meals, activities, and entertainment, and a safe place to be in the community with others.

Betty Ehart Senior Activity Center hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Thursday 8:30 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.

White Rock Senior Center hours are:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
