LAPS NEWS RELEASE
Los Alamos Public Schools will be on a 2 hour delay Thursday, Dec. 14. The forecast shows 3-5 inches of snow with some patches of icy fog. We will have crews in early but will need time to clear campuses. Buses will arrive at their stops 2 hours after their regular time. All evening activities for Wednesday, Dec. 13, were canceled. Your school staff will communicate with you about how events will be rescheduled.
School start times on Thursday, December 14:
- Elementary schools – 10:30 am
- Mid School – 10:00 am
- High School – 9:50 am
- Morning 3Y preschool is canceled. Afternoon 3Y will begin at the regular time.
- LAOLA will have a regular schedule
Please be careful on roads and walkways. There may be snow and ice. We will watch the weather in the morning and will update you if there are any additional cancellations.
