Co-Op Park Phase II Campaign Kicks Off

CO-OP PARK NEWS RELEASE

The new Co-Op Park in Los Alamos has officially kicked-off their  Phase 2 Campaign with a goal of raising $33,000 for construction of a stage canopy with solar power.

“With the help of our amazing community and generous donors, we successfully reached our Phase 1 goal for Co-Op Park construction. The Keep It Co-op team has begun Phase 2 with a goal of finishing  stage and solar construction by Summer 2022. The stage canopy will provide a protected venue for  activities like summer movies on the lawn and will attract a variety live performances. The inclusion of solar panels will create net positive energy for all park activities which aligns with our cooperative principles of sustainability,” said Matt Schmidt, CEO of Los Alamos Schools Credit Union.
