COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
Los Alamos County has received another shipment of rapid antigen COVID-19 tests. County officials indicate that these tests will be made available to local businesses that did not receive rapid tests from the County last month.
Interested businesses may call or email Los Alamos Senior Budget Analyst Barbara Lai at (505) 730-3115 or barbara.lai@lacnm.us to reserve 10 tests (five boxes containing two tests each). Once tests are reserved, business representatives can arrange to pick tests up at the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave., Suite 150, Los Alamos, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lai reminds businesses that were waitlisted in January to pick up tests that are currently on hold for them. If tests are no longer needed, she requests these businesses notify her so she may reallocate them as needed.
PCR COVID-19 tests are available to the community in the Los Alamos townsite at the Mari Mac parking lot Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment through Curative.com. In addition, Pathology Consultants of New Mexico conducts PCR tests in White Rock, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Overlook Park. No appointment is needed.
