Dan Ungerleider, County Economic Development Administrator, To Speak Thursday At LWV Lunch With A Leader

The Los Alamos League of Women Voters next community event, Lunch with a Leader, will  be on Jan. 20 from noon-1 P.M. via zoom. Our leader will be Dan Ungerleider who is the Los Alamos County Economic Development Administrator.

Ungerleider is a certified city planner with over 30 years experience in public and private sector planning. Since earning his BS Degree in Community and Regional Planning at Iowa State University, Dan has been an active member of the community and economic development planning community. He is a dedicated advocate for the use of public-private partnerships and education to gain support for the creation of affordable and environmentally sustainable development.

Dan specializes in all areas of urban and regional planning, including community and economic development, planning and zoning, permit and inspection services, appearance review, code enforcement, public outreach and facilitation, cross-functional team leadership, strategic planning, land acquisition, entitlement, and development project management.

He and his family recently move to Los Alamos from the northern suburbs of Chicago. While they do miss their family and the big city back in Illinois, they are loving Los Alamos’ friendly town atmosphere and beautiful mountain landscapes.
