LA Cares Food Distribution This Week Returns To Drive-Thru Model

LA CARES NEWS RELEASE

LA Cares distribution is switching back to a drive-thru model for Thursday, Jan. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church on North Road. With increasing COVID numbers, we want to make sure our clients and volunteers are as safe as possible.

If you have registered for a food box this month, please follow the following guidelines:  Wear a mask.  Stay in your car. Check in with volunteer in the parking lot.  Get registration slip of paper from volunteer. Proceed to the porch area.  Open the trunk of your car. Give the registration slip to the volunteers.  They will load your groceries into the back of your car.  Proceed up the driveway to make other choices, which will in turn be loaded into your car for you.

We are making this contact-free for the health and safety of everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
