County: Road Patching On Arizona Avenue To Continue Through Thursday

COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

A mobile asphalt and concrete patching operation is focusing on the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Club Road. Road damage at this corner is more extensive than expected and work may continue through Thursday, Dec. 9.

Crews from the Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Division have traffic controls in place at the intersection and request that drivers avoid the area for the duration of the work. Residents who typically enter or exit Arizona from Club Road. should use Woodland Rd. instead. They may cut over to or from Arizona using Country Lane.

The Department of Public Utilities coordinated with the Traffic and Streets Division to repair damage to roads resulting from emergency utility line work. Once repairs are complete at Arizona and Club Rd., the mobile patching operation will resume patch work throughout the County for as long as weather permits.
