Who hasn’t had questions about their child’s development? Las Cumbres Community Services has announced two more free virtual workshops as part of the “Ask A Specialist Series”.
The first is called “Back to School” will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24 and will discuss how to manage the stress and anxiety the school year brings as well as the new layer of stress with in-person learning in the midst of a pandemic.
The second is entitled “Lower Extremity Development” and is set for 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8. It will address questions such as, “Why does my child walk with his feet pointing in? Is walking on tiptoes typical? Why does my child roll her ankles in?”
The “Ask a Specialist” series features specialists such as physical and occupational therapists; speech therapists, developmental specials and behavioral health clinicians who will cover frequently asked questions and answer questions directly from attendees.
