Local Democrats Clean Up On NM 502 Saturday For Earth Day

Members of the Democratic Party of Los Alamos gathered Saturday morning to participate in Clean up Los Alamos as their Earth Day activity. Los Alamos Democrats met Saturday morning to participate in Clean Up Los Alamos Day.  More than a dozen of them met at the Los Alamos Airport and worked their way from their way along NM 502 cleaning up bags of trash. DPLA thanked Los Alamos County Environmental Services for providing gloves, trash bags, drawstring bags and a recycle bin for the group to use. They also thanked all those who showed up and cleaned up, especially local Democratic elected officials. The event was organized by Los Alamos School Board member and DPLA Ward C Chair Christine Bernstein and Ward C Vice Chair Alissa Grissom. Los Alamos Municipal Judge Elizabeth Allen, husband Matt, and children Evan, Magnolia and Ann Marie joined the Democratic Party of Los Alamos volunteers for Cleanup Los Alamos activities.
