LOS ALAMOS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY NEWS

On January 31 residents and employees of Aspen Ridge Lodge Assisted Living received their second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.  Residents and employees of Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are scheduled to receive their second dose on Sunday, Feb. 7.

The vaccines have been joyfully received and very welcomed. Los Alamos Retirement Community (LARC) would like to take this opportunity to thank the doctors, scientists and staff of Moderna; as well as those tens of thousands of individuals willing to be tested in clinical trials to make sure the vaccines meet safety standards, protect recipients and save lives.   We would also like to thank CVS Pharmacy staff for administering the vaccines, and the residents and employees who joyfully received the doses. 

Lastly, but not least, LARC would like to thank and praise the incredible work of its staff, who have been committed and proactive in their response to COVID-19.  They have been selfless and determined to give their all in the fight against this virus.  They are true heroes.
