Los Alamos Author Shirley-Raye Redmond’s Latest Book Wins Christianity Today 2021 Book Award

A book by Los Alamos author Shirley-Raye Redmond has won a Christianity Today 2021 Book Award in the Children and Youth Category. Published early this year, Courageous World Changers: 50 True Stories of Daring Women of God, was selected as one of the books Christianity Today believes most likely to shape evangelical life, thought and culture.

“The award was a delightful surprise and a lovely Christmas present,” Redmond told the Los Alamos Reporter.

Redmond is known for her three inspirational novels, Prudence Pursued, Viper’s Nest and Amanda’s Beau, and more thanHer 25 other books. Her book Lewis & Clark: A Prairie Dog for President was a Children’s Book of the Month Club selection.
