Let’s show our local businesses how much we need and appreciate them by supporting them as much as possible in the coming weeks. Many of them offer curbside service or even delivery. Don’t forget that Saturday is also the Small Business Saturday New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax Holiday. For this one day, the state suspends the collection of gross receipts tax on sales of qualifying items at certain small businesses.

The Blue Bucks Raffle Promotion sponsored by Enterprise Bank & Trust is in full swing and will continue through Dec. 15. For every $25 spent at a participating business, customers are awarded “blue bucks” tickets, which are then entered into a cash prize raffle drawing at the conclusion of the promotional period. Shoppers have a chance to win local gift cards, and up to $1,000 cash prize. The business that draws the winning ticket will also receive $1,000! New this year, purchases made in-person or online on the actual Small Business Saturday will be worth double tickets! Businesses can fill out the raffle tickets for online shoppers this year.
