The White Rock Senior Center will host a special lunch presentation on Uzbekistan from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. 

Members Beverly and Martin Cooper will take the community on a special journey by sharing culture and pictures from their travels.  Chef Michael Mason has crafted a lunch to tie in with the travel presentation.

Community members are invited to lunch at the low cost of $10 but reservations must be made by calling (505) 672-2034 before 10 a.m. on the day of the presentation. The menu includes; Shashlik, skewered  grilled meats in chicken or beef, Zamburug Dolma, a cheese stuffed mushroom, Plov, a rice pilaf, Nan, flat bread and Baklava for dessert.
