LEMONADE LIVING NEWS

New this year, Lemonade Living is hosting Shining Star fall dinner and dance 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5 in Los Alamos for people ages 15 and older with developmental disabilities and special needs. The dinner and dance is being offered in response to enthusiasm for the spring prom first held in 2017 and requests for additional activities.

“It is very exciting to be able to offer another fun activity for our community members with developmental disabilities and special needs. We are very grateful for all the generous donations and invaluable volunteers who make the dance a joy-filled and memorable event for our special needs community,” Lemonade Living Founder and President Melissa Arias said.

Lemonade Living is still accepting donations for the dance and their Farm to Kitchen Jobs Training program operating at Rose Chocolatier in partnership with Los Alamos Public Schools and New Mexico Workforce Connections. Donations can be made online at Lemonadeliving.org/donations or at Rose Chocolatier, 149 Central Park Square in Los Alamos. For additional dance information, call 505-500-5281 or visit Lemonadeliving.org/events.
