Amateur Radio Operators Gather At North Mesa Picnic Grounds For 24-Hour Event

The Los Alamos Amateur Radio Club is hosting a National Amateur Radio Field Day event Saturday and Sunday at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds off North Mesa Road in Los Alamos. More than 35,000 amateur radio operators (hams) across North America were expected to operate from noon Saturday to noon Sunday including this group from the Los Alamos clunb which was founded in 1946.
