Los Alamos Public Schools will be hosting a free Summer Food Service Program from June 10 to Aug 3 at Aspen Elementary School. This free lunch program provides nutritious meals to children 18 and under during the summer when school is not in session.

A full lunch will be provided Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis, and daily menus include a hot protein, fruit, vegetable and milk.

Superintendent Kurt Steinhaus said, “We are pleased to be able to offer this program for the second year in a row at LAPS.” This summer lunch program is being provided by the school district’s food service partners, Chartwells.

Aspen Elementary is located at 2182 33rd Street, Los Alamos.
