The Los Alamos Public Schools’ Healthy Schools Initiative is hosting “Middle School 101,” a workshop to help 6th grade students and parents feel prepared for the transition to middle school. Mark your calendars for Monday, May 6, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Los Alamos Middle School Gym.

This workshop is specifically designed to ease any nerves 6th grade students might have and will answer questions like, “How much homework will I have?” and “Will I be able to open my locker?”

Attendees will get the chance to meet current Los Alamos Middle School students and teachers who will give the scoop on 7th grade.

Please RSVP to Brandi Seekins at b.seekins@laschools.net to reserve your spot for this workshop.
